Actor John Quade Dies at 71

Veteran Actor John Quade died at the age of 71. His wife Gwen Saunders said, he died in his sleep of natural causes Sunday at his home in Rosamond, near Lanchester.
Born John William Saunders II on April 1, 1983, in Kansas City, Kan.
Though his name may not that famous but his face was. He appeared in several Clint Eastwood films, including “Every Which Way But Loose,”and “The Outlaw Josey Wales,” he also played Sheriff Biggs in the TV miniseries “Roots.”
Quade played charater roles in numerous TV series and films including “Papillon,” “The Sting,” and “High Plains Drifter,”
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Joshua Memorial Park and Mortuary, 808 E. Lancaster Blvd., Lancaster.
